RackSat Converters
The RackSat transmitting and receiving converters are also new products from AnaCom. These are designed in 19". They are very stable and suitable for all transfer matrix methods of satellite communication. The step size of the built-in synthesizer is 1MHz. The converters cover all C- & Ku-band frequency ranges. They are delivered with a 70MHz or 140MHz interface and 50Ohm or 75Ohm impedance.
In addition, even RackSat 19" converters come along with an L-band interface. They work either as a Block Up (BUC) or Block Down Converter (BDC). Therefore, you have the opportunity in existing installations to easily transfer L-band signals up to end frequency range and deliver them to already existing travelling wave tube amplifiers. In the receiver chain of the satellite ground station, the L-band signals can be easily converted down behind a stable LNA (Low Noise Amplifier).
In both cases, this results in a stable and transparent installation with built-in power supplies, 1:1 redundancy switching and M&C interface.
